Every culture has its own ethical considerations that are scaffolded by the moral and values of its society. In education, it is a necessity to recognize the relationship between a nation’s moral obligation to educating its students and its role in building global competence and citizenship.
Based on my studies of educational models of Finland, Singapore, and Canada, this researcher does feel it is possible to effectively implement these types of reforms across the United States. Although possible, these educational reforms are not probable due to political secularism.
When educators of gifted and talented students consider the ways in to which to nurture creativity, three perspectives emerge that seek to empower students in its cultivation: the individual perspective, the social perspective, and the educational perspective.
